Can Cisco's ISL Run Over an SONET ring?

Brian Jacobs asks "Is it there any information on running ISL (InterSwitch Link) protocol over a SONET ring? Positron Fiber says they have developed a 100bT card specifically designed to accept ISL frames, but I'd rather hear it from someone who's using it."
