Can XFree86 Support Multiple Pointer Devices?

reverend[RIP] asks: "I have a logitech "New Touch" keyboard with the built in touch pad, as well as a normal 3 button mouse. I would like to be able to use either one when I am in X (Window Maker to be precise). I can connect one as a serial device and one as a ps/2 device, but can I get XFree86 (3.3.3) to activate them both so I can use either while in X?"
