How about we take the furby brain and put it to some good use? How about putting it in a RealDoll www.realdoll.com? Different moans and groans for different parts of the body and stuff. Mommy I know what I want for christmas next year. Imagine the waiting list.

My point was that hacking Furby is a particularly pointless project.
If you are are hardware/protocol hacker, then an example (sic) of a
useful project would be to hack some graphics card drivers. I am not
telling people what to do, I merely know a stupid thing when I see
one (especially if it is so braindead as hacking a Furby).

I think the most important part of Furby Hack page is the link to the NY Post story about the Furby Sweatshop. It makes me pritty mad to hear that the Furby factories meet Hasbro's "code of ethics" while failing to be prepaired to reduce deaths if a factory fire should occur. Marc Rosenberg's statements about the treatment of the workers being competitive with the environment of Asia might lead some to believe that Tiger would have Furbys built in Natzi death camps if the Natzi goverment was still in power. Considering the monsters that Tiger Electronics has become to get Furby's made cheaply, I think this is one "toy" I can do without.

I didn't know the shirts were available through CDNow. I get this question a lot, I'll put some text on my page about it, maybe with a link to CDNow so I can cash in. :)
