Yes they can to a point when it come to parts. If you want to void your warranty you can use any parts you want but if you want to keep your warranty you have to use Ford genuine parts. As for fuel they can't tell you can only use ford fuel but they can say you have to use at least this grade of fuel or your warranty will be void.
