  1. Sounds like this is a semi-realized version of their shuttered Maelstrom project (http://blog.bittorrent.com/tag/maelstrom/). Instead of a browser built on bittorrent, it is instead a browser with bittorrent features side-loaded in. The idea instant access to viewing the files is interesting, but I don't see the big need. I think most bittorrent clients could probably force sectional priority downloads. /Plus the bloat on top is a big turnoff.

  2. NoScript and Ghostery on Front-End Developer Decries 'Garbage' Design Choices on 'The Bullshit Web' (pxlnv.com) · · Score: 2

I actually can't stand browsing the web without at least these two items running. The ads, scripts, and general fluff running on pages now is staggering. Not to mention the RAM and processor usage which could bring an obsolete computer to its knees.

Wow, you are posting a link from the the policy director of a telecom with a straight face and other morons on the site are agreeing with you. My only hope is that you're being paid for this drivel and I guess everybody has their price - a fitting situation in a capitalist society I suppose.

  4. Metadata for Browsers on What Your Photos Know About You (itworld.com) · · Score: 1

I'll be right back, I have to write a paper on how every internet browser has unique identifiers that can ID the exact computer that is being used to browse any website, no matter how Cowardly they are.
