I thought Slashdot was about technology and other geek things. NOT about digging up some random political news article that's 2 YEARS OLD!!! that has no basis in fact. If any of it were true don't you think that the democrats in power would have pushed for some special investigation. OR is it that the Democrats are doing the SAME THING!!! (eg - Illinios) and if they exposed the Republicans they would risk exposing themselves.
It's easy to see that Slashdot slightly leans to the left, but if I wanted to read about some vast-Right/Left-wing-conspiracy (which I don't) I would go to some other website.
