What do you mean by "it works better"? The browser itself or tabbed browsing? If you are referring to the different behavior in tabbed browsing, there is a change in Firefox 2 that I really like. While Firefox used to go back to the tab left to the tab you just closed, Opera switches to the tab that you have used before. In Firefox 2 (at least that is the behavior I noticed in the betas), Firefox decides which tab it should switch to depending on when and which tab you close. I can't tell the exact rules for that right now, but it is a nice combination of the old Firefox and the Opera tab behavior.
I don't think Symantec and McAfee will have a problem in the near future. It think it's the same thing as with personal firewalls. Even though Windows XP has a built-in firewall (which covers only incoming connections, I know), people feel the need for additional security. I won't write about the pros and cons of personal firewalls and the use of Symantec's and McAfee's products, but I believe that the average user will simply keep buying security products. They come in nice boxes and as we all know, Windows isn't safe if you use it as it is. I don't think Microsoft's marketing will change this perception in the next few years, so many computer users will still believe what the traditional security software vendors tell them.
Take a close look at the website and then have a good guess whether or not this might be useful. In my opinion, background music will do a much better job at relaxing you if you chose the right music. While I was looking around at the website, I found another "wonderful" product, that finally made it clear to me what kind of products this company tries to sell. Look at their intellectual property page at <URL:http://www.sfxmachine.com/misc/ip.html> and find out about the ingenious "Purr Detector Cat Collar".
