In terms of the most hours put in, it's a toss up between Halo 1(16 player games over the network), and Tetris Attack for the SNES. Nothing beats happy drug-induced characters contrasting w/ swearing and rage associated w/ sending your opponent a huge combo.
Other huge titles were Bond on 64, Kart 64, kart on the SNES.
I never really played Pokemon on the gameboy, but I feel that many people spent far too much of their lives in it.
I remember back in the AOL is the only internet days playing a free MMO called Gemstone 3 for days and days.
Tekken Tag on PS2
That's all I can remember for now, but I know there have to be more...
PS4 won't use disks? That's very possible, considering that the PS3 release is resulting in massive losses for Sony, combined with the largest notebook battery recall in history (remember the exploding, melty laptop pictures?), loss of market share in their TV division and other electronics, who's to say Sony will even be AROUND for PS4? I'd be surprised if Sony doesn't bite the big one on this ps3 venture, seeing as they've put all their remaining eggs in this console basket.
4 cores is great and all, but I know they are still working on support for games such as many Steam offerings with only 2 cores in terms of multi-threading, so I'd have to imagine that game support to really take advantage of a 4-core system would be a long way away. I was still psyched about the low voltage powerhouses for laptops, and I'm wondering how much extra heat 4 cores are going to put out as well. How many apps are really geared to take advantage of 4 cores atm, really?
but it still explodes, somewhat violently, correct?
What happens when one of these hits another one at 70mph?
