Nanoparticles are present in many organic compounds, many manufacturers hide the fact that their products contain nanoparticles, and even defining what constitutes them can be difficult. And yet, consumers are quick to blame unfamiliar technologies, as when over 100 people were treated for respiratory problems after using Magic Nano cleanser. As it turned out there was no nano in Magic Nano, but that didn't stop one victim from claiming, "I blame nanotechnology!"
