I second that it's outrageous that celebrities and actors get paid millions of dollars for not doing anything that significantly benefits the world.
Are actors curing cancer, feeding the hungry, housing the homeless? No!! But they do get paid 30 million for a movie that ultimately jacks up the cost of seeing a movie. If actors got paid for their actual contribution to society, movie execs didn't bilk the hell out of movies, and movies then ended costing something reasonable to see like a few bucks like the good old days, then we wouldn't be arguing about movie piracy because there wouldn't be that much demand for a pirated movie. In the end, the movie execs created this crazy out of touch with reality world called Hollywood and ultimately did this to themselves.
Modern wind turbines have huge blades with a huge surface area so the blades rotate slowly and more efficiently so bird mortality is not as dramatic as we would imagine.
I wish S939 had a longer lifespan but hey, AMD engineered the Athlon64 well enough that at least I was able to upgrade my Athlon64 3800+ to a X2 4800+ by just replacing the chip. I'd say AMD's platforms are twice as long lived as Intel's. AM2 platforms are supposed to be able to accept AM2 and AM3 CPUs. That's good platform longevity!!

Have you ever seen a wind farm in action?

Interestingly, after levitating for several moments, all subjects were found to be deaf to ultrasound.
