I heard a while back that one device available for sale in Japan (which was in fact a best seller) was a little electronic jammer that you could turn on to disrupt all cel phone traffic within a range of about 100 feet. Great for restaurants (and obnoxious gabbers) or for driving.....
Dex--You have just explained (so everyone can understand it) the most fundamental precept of "Natural Law," which is the Eighteenth Century legal/ethical/philosophical system upon which the United States Constitution, English common law, and the Brits' unwritten constitution is based, and out of which arise such concepts as Due Process arise. A good example of an "unnatural" law, would be one not promulgated to the public, i.e., a secret law. Now whether or not highly complex law counts as "secret" is the question. Are we living up to our ideals?
The value in the bottle is the fact that it's a metaphor for thousands of inbred systems---for example: Ecology: What you throw out back comes up front in your face again. Another poster has indicated the thing stands for Microsoft--upgrade constantly for downgraded results... And so it goes....
It seems to me that under the circumstances, the major search engines might be amenable to requests from Slashdot readers that perhaps Leonardo Finance be removed from their databases.
