Considering that www.yahoo.com takes about 5,000k more memory than www.google.com in my Firefox browser, it's obvious to me which one I use by default.
Seriously? I can think of many reasons why to use google over yahoo, but 5,000k (in firefox nevertheless) isn't a serious one. That's like the posting earlier about vista being bad, because of it's environmental impact.
from a tech point of view sounds good, but in reality, not so much.
the avg person would have too much trouble understanding it, wouldn't follow up, and it would still be susceptible to hacking the process by the volunteers or the machine handling it.
even worse it would make it even more likely for the poorly-trained election volunteer to make honest mistakes. the confusion on the common voter trying to comprehend the system would lead to people saying it was still a 'black box' of technology or process and even worse would lead many to say they were cheated out of a vote when it fact they just couldn't figure out how the damn system worked.
let's keep the system as simple as possible
exactly, there's no 'fair' way to determine if something was balanced
this will only further polarize issues and present no middle ground. it could further increase news networks just pitting pundits at each other; which is not news. should i assume hannity and combles is fair because they present 'both sides' of the issue?
what about cases where the issue is 98% clear. do we have to give 50% of the discussion to the 2% who are the uber-extreme right, left, or borderline sane??? there will always be one person to disagree with everything.
good intention, bad results.
keeping up and cutting edge sounds great, but i hope if they plan on adding all of these features they spin off a lite verison too.
is it just me or is firefox starting to get a bloated, almost like ie. features are great if they provide useful functionality; but sometimes lightweight, fast, and simple is all you need/want for just browsing around.

not so much. from tfa, this is only one part of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).
what, you mean people don't like ms passport?
but how can i turn my new iPod shuffle into a comp? a pack of gum form factor is still too big for my needs
1) have kids 2) be a bad parent 3) profit!

they should've waited until super tuesday before issuing the patch. everyone knows not to patch out of cycle.
