    This may be true sometime in the future, but that day is not today. No, it was yesterday (or more accurately a decade ago). DEC provided FX!32 to allow legacy WIN32 programs to execute on AlphaNT systems in the mid 90's - it provided both emulation and translation of commonly used code paths. Worked well - I used it for a couple of years. I'm sure better could be done today, if there was a will and market for it.
