When you said "Kindle-type", I thought you meant something with the form factor of the Kindle but with extra functionality, not the Kindle itself. I personally thought he was talking about firewood. But that's just me.

Well, the preferred method is a slimjim, wire cutters, and some practice.
Though for opening a car, I personally think that a Haligan Tool is much simpler. Blow out the side window:-P
