As for bulky web pages and feepingCreaturism, this is not because techie types can't be trusted. Quite the obverse, its what users DEMAND, usually over the rabid protests of someone like me who wants a clean, fast, simple solution instead of garishness. After I finally lose the battle with a sigh and a single small tear, and give them the garish bloatware they demand (be end-user or management)then it sucks - just like I told them it would, and techies/technology is blamed for the idiocy they forced on us.
