Lots of the old "shotgun" houses down there were pretty much boats on blocks, made of cypress. When they float off the "foundation," you add another row of blocks.;-)
I'm a woman who's been in IT nearly 25 years, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't understand why more women aren't in the field. I met my late husband on the job and one of the things I miss most about him is our nightly "shop talk".
Dating, however, is a problem because most people's eyes glaze over when talk turns to configs and production problems... but they call me for tech support anyway!
