None of the Hasbro family of companies (Hasbro, Parker Brothers, Avalon Hill, etc) will talk to individuals. They only talk to "toy brokers." Watch out for them. One of them, Davidson and Associates, makes their money charging people for "research" and have an amazingly poor track record getting games to manufacturers. Check with the Better Business Bureau before giving anyone any money.
I'm almost finished with a large boardgame myself, with 6-8 hour playing time. My plan is to publish on the web. Publishers get more interested once you've proven a game is sellable.
