Someone knows about a company they want to post about, but probably not about the other companies that are already there. How is that person supposed to build up "credit" in order to post? They probably no nothing about the companies currently posted. It's a chicken-and-egg problem.
The site won't get current news with this model because the actively rated group will be small.
As far as I can tell, the site charges for the ability to post a "topic". A "topic" is how you start a new thread on a new company. So, it's requiring people pay for the privilege of starting a thread about a company.
