Right on. I am starting my boycott of listening to musicians whose music is 30 years old and is sold by "companies" who give nothing to the musician. I am so excited by this that I will even boycott my own cd collection.

A while ago i had a great idea about how to fix copyright. Instead of having copyright law have copywrong law. Everytime someone copies and distributes somerthing that is utter trash they will be forced to pay a fine to RIAA. I feel this is a much better way for RIAA to make money.
The muscians are irrelevant to all this since they are supposed to be poor bastards anyway.

Really? I take it you haven't been paying attention in history class.... I would say that your failure to apply the leasons learned from studying history is just a sign of personal stupidity and of the stupidity of the people you associate with (teachers, books, whatever). Try talking to an immigrant physics major that just came over here for college - maybe you'll learn the meaning of incoherent.

And please don't confuse "applying" completelely arbitrary and useless formulas with the possible validity or meaning of the formulas themselves - that just means you can do math.
Well, maybe you haven't gotten far along in Physics to think its irrelevant yet. Maybe you think that if you can't configure a media player to be a text editor that means the OS is faulty.

Why, just the other day I stole linux from Bob at the local computer computer store. He was charging 39.99 for it but I gave him 20 bucks and told him to beat it.

Will they add usb mouse support to the 2.4 kernel? Isn't what that reiserfs thing is? I think they spelled it wrong - it should be raiserfs. I wrote a mouse driver for the amiga once. Maybe I should just send that in? What do you think?

Why complain that crap is expensive? Being expensive is what make it crap.
