    4 columns in CSS is trivial, if you don't limit yourself to what CSS was like 11 years ago. Yeah, but try to make those colomns behave in the way you expect, and it quickly becomes a nightmare, even with modern CSS. Didn't you wonder why all the colomns in your "trivial" example are different heights?

    No, I meant the checkers equivalent of deep blue--(aka Chinook)--which I had never heard of because it never enjoyed the media coverage that deep blue did.

    Hasn't it always been fairly easy for a computer to beat a human at checkers? I don't recall it making the news the first time deep blue beat the world grand master at checkers.

    i wondered about that too. their site says the kestrel nozzle is made of a niobium alloy less resistant to cracking--"An impact from orbital debris or during stage separation would simply dent the metal, but have no meaningful effect on engine performance." but i seriously doubt it could withstand being hit by the entire first stage without adverse affect. i woudl expect a bump like that to tweak the thruster causing wobbles and ... oh wait. that's what happened.
