  1. Dual format player on Big Releases Heat Up High-Def Format War · · Score: 0

Are there any players out there that will play both BluRay and HD-DVD? That could potentially put an end to the battle. Probably not the safest idea, if one format flops, half of your device is usless.

  2. Fsck Microsoft's mafia tactics on Linus Responds To Microsoft Patent Claims · · Score: 0, Redundant

Waaaa, Waaaa. Look at me, I'm Microsoft, our newest OS isn't selling as well as we expected, even after a multi million dollar marketing blitz. Oh no, what are we going to do now? It's not our fault, lets blame someone else and start sueing. Waaaah.

Cry me a fucking river M$. All you ever do is create "me too" products, or buy out competitors when you can't compete.

Your own lack of innovation is what's killing you, not open-source. Take a hike. I hope your law suits blow up in your face.

People are starting to wake up and realize they don't have to be your bitch anymore.

I used to be not so anti-microsoft, just a die hard Linux user. Now I'm boycotting Microsoft products. I will never buy another M$ software or hardware product again.

Aaah, my rant is over. I feel better. There's my $0.02.

  3. They should have a real gang war on Botnet Mafia in Online Turf War · · Score: 1

Too bad they can't kill each other like real gangs. It would be nice if they thinned their numbers so much to the point that we stop getting spam all together.

  4. Re:Which distro? on Pre-Installed Linux Tops Dell Customer Requests · · Score: 1

I've bugged Dell about shipping with NO OS. Nobody wants to sell a PC with an empty hard disk, and that really annoys me. Every Linux/Unix geek has his/her way they like to set up a box. Who wants a factory linux build? They'd build like it windows. They would make one big partition for root and leave it at that. They would probably install what every distro with every single option and library available. Just like that, we're back to the bloated OS delemma. I think it would be good if Dell (among all the other vendors) to make the No OS option available for more than just servers.
