Now the targeted sites can raise their publicity fees arguing that being among the attacked shows they have more mindshare among the population. There was a project in Mexico2 years ago to make Linux the official operating system in all state Mexican schools, even with a company quoting for the project. Unfortunately, a new administration put the project on hold.
You're probably right, I've seen the transition here in Mexico between 8-kids (middle class) families one generation ago, to the current 2-3 kids families. When you live in a relaxed environment, no professional pressures, no stigma on being relatively poor, government creating lots of lifetime jobs, poor but big houses, one breadwinner per family, etc, it wasn't seen to be a big deal to have a big family, it was the normal way (I have 5 brothers, my wife 17!). Now with everybody having to have two jobs to make ends meet, plus both parents working, intense competition for jobs, being expected to provide your kids all the latest fads, going to night school, etc, everyday tension levels are much higher, family tensions are on the rise, and suddenly having a big family sounds like a crazy idea....
