I'm sorry. But didn't we just recently get LIED INTO A WAR over anonymous sourcing?
It's not unreasonable to question a source BEFORE believing what they say (pay attention neo-cons and mainstream media), but anonymous blogging has removed source-checking from the equation.
When I read something, I consider the source first. But anonymous bloggers just want people to read their rants, and not question whether said rants are politically or personally motivated. And that can make all the diference in the world, when considering the objectivity of the poster.
This isn't about leaking classified information, it's about an OPINION... and if one doesn't have the fortitude to say something to someone's face, then maybe one should keep their opinions to themselves... at least until they get a little more courage.
