My initial reading of the title left off the "Fight" part - anyone else?
Ah, the ambiguity of language.
(Child Porn) Fight
- The fight against child porn.
(Child) Porn Fight
- Some sort of battle between two Senators' children who engage in a Battle Royale using only flung pornographic magazines and movies. Like Smithers and Burns having a money fight. Only way creepier.
What is Twitter and why is it significant that they are abandoning it as opposed to anyone else?
It's a service to announce to your friends what you're having for dinner, how satisfying your bowel movements are, and whether or not you intend to see the hip concert that is happening next week in your neighborhood.
It's the blog without the content, the conversation without the words, the letter to a friend without the feeling, and the kiss goodnight without the tongue.
As for the significance of them allegedly leaving RoR, that's anyone's guess. Probably to incite more PHP vs. RoR battles on/.
Speed traps exist to generate revenue. Parking tickets have always existed as a way to generate revenue. If cities actually wanted to stop speeders and parking violators, they'd make the financial burden too much (i.e., raise the fine associated). This will be old news when more cities decrease the length of the yellow light and it becomes as much a matter of common fact as is the speed trap and the "you may only park here for 2 hours" areas.
If I buy a book from Barnes & Noble, which I then enjoy reading in my living room, should I be forced to buy another copy for my bedroom reading pleasure?
