  1. Recursive Ecosystems on The Internet as the "Geekosystem" · · Score: 1

I think the net becoming it's own ecosystem is a fascinating concept, and cant help but consider the building blocks of it. The net is built on the "cream" of the human ecosystems in a way. Anything we have deemed sincerely worthy of expressing, worthy of buying, worthy of ranting about, or worthy of laughing at, worthy of researching, has found itself posted on the net. It is a collection of it's members dreams, fascinations, and passions. Studying the e-cosystem will yield benefits on many levels, both as an ecosystem within itself, but as a collection of smaller ecosystems as well... it's recursive!

  2. Neural Computings Future on Neurocomputing Makes Headway · · Score: 1

After this I remember the Hollywood sci-fi adventures where "wet-wire" and "jacking in" are the norms of their imaginary worlds. Now it seems we want to attain something similar, and I cant help but wonder if whether or not in 50 years time I'll be able to partition of a portion of my brain and install Linux. :-) What a wonderful world it will be (except of course when my neural web browser decides to core dump).

  3. Garnering Techie Votes? on Gore: White House May Get Involved in MS Settlement Talks · · Score: 1

I really believe there is the possiblility of Gore attempting to get garner some techie votes.... which is the only reason I can see the White hooouse getting involved in this. Afterall, it's difficult to miss the collective distatste for M$, and it would make sense to make friends of the techies, especially after "inventing the internet" the way Gore did, and proving his idiocy to us all.
