I dont think people should take this very seriously, global warming is not a fad, its a fact. Scientist may not aggree on all the aspects of global warming, but they aggree on the main principles. The reason why people often think there is a disaggreement is that the media only shows news of the matter when there is controversy included, else its just not news.
And the thing about volcanoes pumping out more than man, although it might be true the effect of man seriously speeds up the effect of global warming. We can stop the volcanoes can not.
A news flash for you all: People will still make music if the dont get paid for it. Most of the artists out there arent getting paid at all and they dont mind. Im a programmer and I make music just for the heck of it, and if people like it, great(if not damn them to hell), im not looking for money.
Weve had this in Iceland for about 3 months now, yes, you pay for phonecalls. Its a phone company that took the initiative. They of course get a percentage of the minute rate. Which makes the 20$ you pay per month fade in comparison.
Why not get Cnn or something to sponsor the crafts. Ill bet theyd pay 100million$ to have exclusive viewing rights and live coverage and probably could make little mars lunar toys or something like that.
Id like it pretty much if I turned on the TV and saw an ad for Quake 4:"Stroggs in space" instead of an ad for Tampoons, isnt this what it all comes down to, advertisment that suit you, stuff you are intrested in. All advertisments arent bad (some are) but once you see stuff your intrested in. If im watching a sporting event on tv(never happens) and im seeing a pepsi cola sign in stead of coke. Doesnt bother me, shouldnt bother you. Yeah, I hear you the implications of this technology are pretty hefty, but like in so many replies, its nothing new that the media edit stuff, they just have a new way of doing it, how powerful, I dont know, but the world isnt going to change from it.
