Actually, my experience is the opposite: men tend to give bad directions because they are optimizing by time, i.e. they will give you their idiosyncratic shortcuts. "turn on the blue house with the big dog, go straight until you the Dairy Queen..."
While women tend to give clearer directions which may take longer, but are easier to follow.
Considering that the context is someone who doesn't know the area, easy but long directions beat short but complex... hey! that matches the description of how women code at the start of this thread:)
I installed Dapper Drake a while ago, in a dual boot machine, and my wife ended up using Windows because many key applications didn't just work.
I recently installed Hardy Heron in our new computer, no windows, and most things have worked right away or are a google/download away. My wife hasn't asked me to install Windows at all. She was saying that she was happy with it.
It is truly amazing how much it improved in so little time.

Incurring a debt to pay for wars of conquest, Iraq, is bad, because wars have terrible returns on investment to nations. They are very profitable to a few individuals, but to the nations that sponsor them, they tend to be financial disasters.
The current weakness in the dollar is the result of the war. The war is the biggest waste and financial drain that we have. We must end the war first, and then carefully select the programs that we are going to fund.

The problem with the Republican Party and racism is that Republican strategists decided to campaign towards racists back when Nixon ran for president. This may sound terrible to say, but the electoral victories of the last 30 years may not have happened without candidates pandering to racism.
Unfortunately this decision made 30 years ago is destroying the party. Every decent Republican leaves the party because they can't stand the bigotry. And every time a decent Republican leaves, it makes the bigoted faction more and more important.
Expel the racists from the Republican Party, and you will see that the party will become a lot stronger, since many of its principles appeal to a wide demographic. They just don't become Republicans because of the GOP's bigotry.
