I believe it was Google who at some point had an option to highlight the portion of the page that showed the problem, as well as submit a comment about it. Being able to see exactly what this user is talking about would help quite a bit when I go to fix a bug.
I firmly believe that Barack Obama is going to bring the change we need to alter the way the world see us. We need to earn back a little of our reputation that the eight previous years have lost us. We need to talk, discuss, and use diplomacy instead of force.
I'm very glad that Obama won. I sincerely hope that he can keep all his promises he made to the American people, and with control of the house and senate, it looks likely that he won't have any trouble passing bills.
discworld.atuin.net -- I've played the Disccworld MUD for about 6 years now. It's a great game, especially if you're a Pterry fan or a fan of the books. It's true to the story, but also involves all those great class MUD ideas.
Isaac Asimov wrote about a power source like this in "I, Robot." There were stations in space that absorbed solar energy and transmitted it back to Earth. If the ray became out of align, or if a magnetic storm intercepted the ray on its way toward the receptacle on the ground, it would distort the energy causing severe damage to huge portions of the planet.
In the case of Palau, if they can get this technology working properly, it would be interesting to see how the United States or the EU would use this to aid their combat against global warming and non-renewable energy. Maybe the Space Station will get equipped with a huge solar array to send renewable energy down to Earth, eh?
I bet the military would jump all over this if they could get some human/dog hybrids to sniff out terrorists, or human/eagle hybrids for enhanced eye sight, etc.
