Count me in! I would ragefully assault a jackass sitting next to me who screamed into a cell phone for 5 hours on the ground and 3 in the air. Actually, any hours at all.
Exceptions s/b allowed, but then anyone who feels that the cell phone "ban" is endangering them or violating their civil rights should just damn the torpedoes and make the call. In my experience, there are many cases in which the petulance of air stewards is a justifiable risk.
