The RIAA is assuming the identity of other people to catch pirates. But what they are really doing is exploiting other users. It's like identity theft. It's not right for anyone to assume someone else's identity for any reason even if their mindset is "it takes one to know one".
I'm not necessarily a fan of the RIAA but I'm more opposed to pirates. They're stealing. And, not to give any credit to the RIAA or MPAA, they are trying everything in their power (and some things out of their power) to catch the thieves. This all comes down to pirates ruining it for everyone.
