    You don't remember correctly. LA Noire started being developed in 2003 which was 3 years before the initial release of the RAGE engine. The only way they could have been "handed the GTA engine on a platter" was through having a time machine.

    You do realize that the development started 3 years before they were ever part of Take Two, right? They weren't "re-implementing" anything since there was no engine for them to be given.

    It seems that her successor, who was critical of the value of the U.S. dollar and pulling ahead of the polls in the French election, suddenly decided to take up a new career in sexual assault at a New York hotel.

    Ignoring the other sexual assault charge from a woman many years ago as well as his long history of womanizing? Those were also US plots to discredit him, too, right?

    If I recall Google has a 30 minute return policy on apps.

    Which is total bullshit considering there have been many cases when I've fought for well more than 30 minutes just to get an app to download and install.

    The word is "off", not "of".

    No. There are two parts of the Android market. There is the "paid" part and the "free" part. They are distinct parts and thus Google has removed the "paid" apps part of the market.

    Except it's not just enterprises. Tons of average users are getting headaches over this as well when suddenly an unjustified version jump is making it so their plugins get disabled.

    I'm pretty sure the GP's post was entirely ironic considering the premise of the article. Basically this person is whining about "fake" geeks co-opting the term when in fact the supposed "real" geeks stole the terms from the prior "real" geeks.

    Your scenario is completely different. There are even case law rulings to back up the fact that public servants in public do not have a right to privacy. These states and cities who abuse wiretapping laws to stop people from taking public videos of cops should be punished for gross misuse of the legal system.
