    Nothing in the abstract or the linked article makes any claims of being the first any discovery. All this is about is that this particular project had its first hit. The rest is just sensationalist nonsense from the summary writer.

    Nice attempt at dodging the question. Are you seriously saying you would help someone who took your personal documents in redacting them so they could leak them on the Internet?

    Not that I'm taking a stand either way, but to realistically expect anyone to want to willfully help someone redact information from documents that were stolen from you so they can leak them to the Internet is absurd.

    Corporations don't have the power to send armed agents to kick in my door and slap handcuffs on me.....

    The easy to find FBI raids on behalf of software, record and movie companies speaks to the contrary. They very much do have the political power to get armed agents to kick in your door and arrest you.

    I never managed to make the audio system in Windows XP behave as i would like. I have 2 sound output devices(Headphones and an usb headset) and I never managed to
    control which software did output to which sound device. And I also miss a Windows application to control the sound level on an "per application" level. And features such as redirect audio to other computers.

    So the best you can do is bash a 9 year old operating system for being unable to do something that Linux couldn't do at the same time either? Are you fucking stupid or what?

    Using the product isn't the issue. The DMCA is about the distribution of a product to circumvent protection schemes.
