I work at an ISP and we were using an old UNIX version of Filepro for a while when we decided to switch over to freeside. Freeside is good if dial-up is all you do, but we also resold DSL and do wireless. Integrating all of that in freeside was more trouble that it was worth. We practically had to re-write the whole thing to get it to work and then that wasn't even that great. We ended up purchasing a solution by a company called boardtown. The system is called platypus and has been working great thus far. It has all the built in integration for radius, and is very easy to create scripts to run on servers.
