Actually, the FDA came about to say you can't just put any old crap in and call it medicine. Specifically, diethelyne glycol in in a children's Elixir Sulfanilamide formulation. Then it said you couldn't just go giving untested drugs to pregnant women such as thalidomide.
It does seem to have jumped the shark since then, but that is a call to reform (literally) the FDA, not eliminate it categorically.
The only extremists here are the Capitalsts. Even Whisper that perhaps healthcare should be handlef differently and they screech about Communism. Just look how they continue to hiss and snarl over Obamacare even though the plan was modeled after one of their own.
For the most part, the Marxists here are just in the fevered minds of the Capitalists.
That one? Because that *IS* my original statement. Then you went on some crazy rant about Marxism and trying to claim I support Venezuela.
In other words, thank you for being such a fine exemplar to my original point.
My reading of the last line was that simply possessing a franchise agreement or a license does not make you a dealer. In other words, it is doing the other parts that make you a dealer. Kind of like having a driver's license doesn't mean you are driving, but it is possible (but illegal) to drive without a license.
That is, you can't tell the officer I couldn't have been speeding, I don't have a driver's license and expect to be excused.
They may or may not have agreed with it when Romney did it, but it didn't become evil socialism until Obama did it.
And, of course, Trump was full of bluster about the really great plan he had for healthcare and how everyone would love it right up until it came to put up or shut up time.
And your solution is a bunch of hand waving followed by a game of brinksmanship with millions of people's lives?
What do you know, I mention a Social safety net and someone screeches about Marxism and crazy claims that Venezuela is balanced. I'm like totally shocked! But thanks for being such a fine exemplar!
Well, there is the fact that the GOP has been thoroughly in power for some time now, tried to repeal Obamacare 50 times or so and failed miserably even while holding the Presidency, House, and Senate since they couldn't come up with anything better.
I see a call for less capitalism in this thread, but that's about it. Of course, the screeching Capitalists that insist that even a hint of a social safety net is Communism have lead others to say "let's give that Communism thing a try then" when, in fact, they're advocating for a more balanced hybrid system.

Unfortunately, without that government, they are simply tempted to buy jackboots of their own and there's nobody to stop them but other corporations and their jackboots. HELLO FEUDALISM!
At the same time, the safety net is so full of holes, a bad medical income that doesn't kill you casts you into the pit of eternal poverty unless you get a big settlement in a malpractice suit. Understandably, nobody wants to be in that pit.
Fill in the pit and we can cut back on extreme malpractice settlements.
In part because the FDA requires each producer to re-test the proven design so much to prove it really is exactly like the already approved one that it's almost as expensive as introducing something new, but with a lot less potential for profit.
Then you get overly specific legislation like when schools are required to have $600 epi-pens on hand rather than $10 pre-filled with epinephrine syringes.
Amazon in that analogy was wrong (since they didn't realize glove boxes are no longer made of steel), but that hardly excuses the dealership for their extreme negligence.
Looks like it's time to repeat high school civics!
Bail is for people awaiting trial. You seem to have forgotten that in the United States, you have the right to be presumed innocent unless and untill you are found guilty in a court of law. So the actual claim is that bail is too hard on innocent people.
[Smacks desk with a ruler] *WAKE UP!!!*. Now, tell me, in the United States of America, what are you UNLESS and UNTIL you are found guilty in a court of law?
That's a LOT of people. Consider, you were "at" every single address you passed on the way to work as far as location data goes but you probably have never set foot in any of those places except perhaps a gas station.
If a few of those places got robbed, you were "AT" multiple locations that got robbed. Case closed, see you in 5 to 10.
If the person is actually the robber, I would expect him to be present at ALL of the robberies at the exact time of the robberies. Start there. If nobody pops up, then consider possibly widening the constraints to account for imperfect tracking, but by the time they get down to only being present for 2 within such a wide area and a 30 minute time frame, they're essentially asking for junk data.
That's easy. It's that way because they have you over a barrel. The choice is often enough literally accept whatever we give you and agree to pay whatever we demand later of die. You simply aren't in a position to bargain and there is no time for comparison shopping (as if anyone posted prices and success rate anyway).
Add in that to have anything approaching perfect information, the patient would have to BE a doctor.
The nature of healthcare is such that the free market can never work properly. That's why it's such an unpopular option in the world.
It's also why when the GOP had their chance after years of screeching about repealing Obamacare and how much better they could do, they came up with nothing. Even the GOP couldn't stomach the horror of a repeal without a replacement and they couldn't come up with a replacement that wasn't more socialized than Obamacare (or at least they realized they would be lucky if even one Republican stayed in office once the full implications hit their constituents). It's also why we hear such non-sequiturs as "the government better keep it's hands off of my medicare".
This is more like you order an extra door security package and then a car thief calls the dealer and they send someone out who gives them a spare key, no questions asked, and wishes them a nice day as they drive off with your car.
I think everyone's got it now. You can take off the Napoleon hat and stop bobbling your lips now.

Dude, there are only 8 posts in this thread including this one. What the hell are you reading? (or more to the point, tripping on).

No, it pretty much comes out on it's own. Why, are you soliciting for employment?
It is perfectly reasonable to consider Tesla itself to be the one and only dealer.
Tell that to the North Koreans who are afraid to accidentally crumple a newspaper in case Dear Leader's face is pictured somewhere.
Tell it to Chinese Muslims in their prison camps.
There is one Tesla dealer. And they owe 3rd parties the same tools diagnostics and tech manuals that one dealer has.

So you're saying the facility is worth more than $400 to them?
