Yes, I feel that this kind of thing has become a significant problem out there with a lot of coders. There is so much BS out there about how the GPL is so wonderful and how everyone should use it and that all things that do not use the GPL are from hell and of the devil.

Anyway, I feel that different segments of programs should have the ability to be licensed under different terms as long as they are in separate files (whether it be shared object files or DLLs). You certainly should be able to have one segment of a program under a proprietary license and have other segments under the GPL. I think this would help a lot of people with freaky licensing problems.
