  1. It doesn't matter really... on Computer Science vs. Computer Engineering? · · Score: 1

If your gonna be a geek, pick literature or history as your major, then you can be a well-read geek. Geek-dom comes from within, not the classroom. Wanna learn C/C++/Java/Perl?? buy a book, and spend your classroom time learning how to think.

  2. Vamp D, Fist of the North Star... on Essential Anime · · Score: 1

Vampire Hunter D. Fist of the North Star. 3 x 3 Eyes. Record of Lodoss War. Can't go wrong with those titles. Lester

  3. I beg of you...PLEASE!!! on BioWare Porting to Linux? · · Score: 1

For all that is sacred in the world of gaming,
bring BG2 to Linux, I will sell my soul to whoever
wants to buy it. I will cash in my college
education, I will sell my unborn children, well
ok, I probably won't have the chance, but I would
if a chick would just sleep with me.

    PLEASE.

Do you feel it's more important for those people who really want to learn linux to use a GUI to start, or to jump in on a command line and work there way up from there?

  6. When I was kid... on Youngest Software Executive is Three Years Old · · Score: 2

I was coding little basic programs on a TI-99 and playing games like spacewars when I was 5. Can I be an executive? Its wonderful that MS is exploiting a childs love for computers, ranks right up there with Nike endorsing high school athletes.

    PUKE!

Life is like a Linux Box, the possibilities are endless.

  7. Why Credit Cards??? on Australia - Censorship Overload · · Score: 1

Can't they think of something better, like a license number or something, I don't own a credit card, and I certainly wouldn't use one on-line, but if I wanna access material that is 'to sensitive' or 'to adult' for some ppl, why can't I just enter my license number instead? That would be good age verification. hmph.
