If that was the case, then nobody would ever be able to write any software because everyone at some point has looked at GPL'd code. I don't think there has ever been a case where someone was accused of GPL infringement because they might've looked at some GPL source code at some point in their life.
I think its a better alternative than accelerating through an intersection on a red light. You could even turn it so the steering is unlocked but the engine is off, or even put it into neutral then you would keep everything.
You can't disable UEFI on a machine anymore than you can disable the BIOS on older machines, what you mean is secure boot. Secure boot and UEFI are 2 entirely separate things
Umm in most benchmarks, firefox uses the least amount of memory compared to the other browsers and has done for quite awhile. I personally haven't had any memory issues with firefox in quite some time.
I guess you define not broken as in using an operating system that won't get any new security patches and possible compromise your business? I don't understand why its such a big deal to upgrade your OS once every 10 years, no other vendor has supported an OS in the same class as windows xp for as long as microsoft has.

For what reasons do you hate windows 8 exactly? I have to admit, its not very much better than 7, but its not the spawn of the devil like most people on slashdot like to think. The only thing they did visibly is they re-arranged the start menu, otherwise it behaves almost exactly the same as Windows 8.
Okay, I don't have much sympathy for this argument and here's why: a) You are using hardware that is at least over 7 years old if it isn't supported by any newer version of windows and is probably older than that in which case it probably is time to upgrade b) You've known for well over 7 years that XP support wasn't going to last forever and have had time to plan and budget, its not like Microsoft just released XP and the next day said we are going to stop supporting it
XP is 12-13 year old operating system, no other company has supported a consumer, desktop operating system for that long. If you use equipment thats only compatible with XP and costs 10k, you've had a very long time to budget and plan for this. There is simply no reason why anyone should complain about XP going out of support.
Furthermore, Microsoft has no obligation to use the same device driver model in every operating system for as long as they exist as a company. Thats like complaining that Red Hat doesn't still support the 2.2 kernel because some older hardware only have drivers that work in the 2.2 kernel.

Any computer program *CAN* do something dangerous, unless you audit every line of every program and build the computer hardware in house from scratch(see 'Reflections on Trust by Ken Thompson'). I'm not sure what Google saying that it can do something dangerous has any bearing and more so I don't know the context of that quote. Google obviously isn't going to say all apps from the Play store are perfect, because NO software or hardware company says that.

Just by buying that app from the Google Store made you give permission for that App to have access to the camera....which is the Devs....that are located outside the US. Any Google Apps and Devices are already eliminated out of the gate for our use.
Umm 'you give permission for this app to have access to the camera' doesn't mean the developers of that can look through the camera whenever they want or that they can look at the pictures whenever they want, it just means the app can use the camera.
Well my point was that there are some cases in the ordinary operation of the vehicle where you have to take a hand off the wheel, so you don't necessarily need both hands on the wheel to drive. In fact, because I drive a manual transmission vehicle, I have one hand off of the steering wheel a large amount of the time and thats just to operate the vehicle correctly, not even including stereo or environmental controls
I guess driving a car with a manual transmission should be illegal too because you take a hand off the wheel to shift, or failing that car stereos, window controls, environmental controls etc should be illegal
Why is your phone number more personal? if I know your name, I can just look up your phone number in the phone book or any phone book website so its already public information

Umm...no, it is not well established that "cell phone radiation" aka radio waves can disrupt cellular activity. Radio waves don't have enough energy to break carbon bonds, refer to the standard issue electromagnetic spectrum diagram which means they can't affect cells.

Microsoft didn't provide a successor to windows xp? There are 3 successors to windows xp: windows vista, windows 7, windows 8.
What happens if Microsoft steals the information about parts? What happens if there is a backdoor in the hardware?
