This isn't even close to "DRM". The content isn't protected; the transmission of content is.
Are we not allowed to "unencrypt" the transmission for security reasons? I want to know what Adobe is sending to and from my computer. I have that right. If they really cared about the content they would "DRM" the actual content. Not encrypt some TCP packet delivering the content with some generic stream cipher.
Looks like Adobe was just trying to take the easy way out... again.
