    I thought something like that when I wanted to test IE9 preview. Aside from the fact that I boot my Debian instead.

    I've downloaded Vista image from MS site but had no luck. It does not have any SP at all. And SP1 (downloaded by hand) was unable to install itself. Nice...

    How many they will catch should not affect whether 50% is large or small.

    I'd say they are not mutually exclusive. They are some gems in new games too. I'm listening music from (say) Mario / Kyattou Ninden Teyande / Chrono Trigger / Ar tonelico alongside quite often.

    you have to use a USER DEFINED FUNCTION for trimming just boggles the mind.

    That's a lack in DOM, not a lack in Javascript.

    DOM has nothing to do with string manipulation.

    I meant that DBUS is already a standard so there is nothing much you can do about it's existence.

    As for plasma applets it's still comes down to user's will to install something new and potentially dangerous. [well, you said that]

    I don't think they'll need any excuse. The 'new and better framework version' works just the same IMO.
