How is it any different than a drug raid uncovering a major drug ring, such as this one?

Illegal software isn't the same as illegal drugs, but you'll still make a difference somewhere. It almost seems impossible that all illegal drugs will be stopped, just the same as it is impossible to stop all illegal software.
