Would it be such a stretch to take the composite video output of a game like Halo 2 into your video-in and use a pixel-scanning aimbot to do USB output spliced into your controller wiring?
It would probably take some voodoo coding, but it is more than possible.

They're not fast, but they are awesome and I have noticed a better connection when using these to bridge my Xbox Live connection through my comp.
