I wonder what effect this will have on the sales of GH3. I love GH2, and have two controllers, but would hesitate to buy the next one if only a few months later I could get a game that would allow more friends to join in and probably be twice as fun. Especially, as the cost of adding the drums and mic will not be trivial.
360 forums are filled with complaints from customers that have had to replace some games two or three times where they have done nothing adverse to the either the console or the discs. My GHII disc scratched when I went to add another controller to the usb port and slightly bumped the console. I tried to have it buffed out twice and it wouldn't work, so I took it back to the store. So while I haven't had a problem when it was just sitting there, I shouldn't have a problem when I just bump the box...
See how I actually got an account? You should try this, it's pretty neat.
If you'd read for comprehension, instead of just reading each word by itself, you'd see that I'm happy it was so easy to get it repaired.
If the only thing you feel like contributing to a discussion is the same crap repeated over and over, go log onto a Sony board, I'm sure they'd love to have you.
I mean, listen. I'm not saying the 360 is the be all, end all of gaming. I know that MS has apparently made a pretty big mistake with their hardware design, to the tune of $1bn. But if the worst it affects me is for my system to be unavailable for a week... well, I can deal with that.
When I compare the different consoles, I'm still not dissappointed I got the 360.
A gaming PC is higher end than I want to buy. The PS3 is Fun, I love it, but it's a little more expensive and I don't need blue ray, I still watch standard def tv. The Wii is a lot of fun with a group of friends, but not the type of gaming I want for solo time.
