You obviously don't know how to make use of a command line then. GUI's are great for ease of use, they distill out the core functionality of a program and make it accessible for everyone. HOWEVER, if you want full control, command line is where it is at. It's not for the rookies, it is for the experienced user.
Linux should make use of.NET if it shapes up to be a standard communication technology. Why not?? M$ is a business venture to enhance communication, Linux IS communication, down to the finest level of granularity. Linux is by default the larger entity of the two. Monkeys using tools...
There are certainly stooopid people of all ages...But i have no doubt that there a many more stooopid 15 year olds than stooopid 50 year olds. Life and the experiences it brings make a person smarter. Sure, kids are good with new technology...what about the other 98% of knowledge required to "RULE THE WORLD"?
