i got to a smaller university in Pennsylvania having an on campus sharing network is a help to our campus networking, now they would never personally announce that but before the sharing the network was constantly bogged down because under some policy they are not allow to block "entertainment" from the internet so having the p2p on campus helps out outbound traffic substantally allowing for greater bandwith for it acutal purpose
ok so i went to the site and saw that ya rh was in last place but yet when you went to the page where it was pick your favorite OS, RH was in the lead. Yes RH, no their weren't other distros of linux their was RedHat so why if someone was voting and they wanted another distro of linux why didn't they put other which would be the appropriate spot for another distro, They didn't have just Windows, they had y2k and nt, so the people who picked RedHat were voting for RH so is RedHat Being linux or is it being redhat?
I was wondering the same thing once i started using linux, i use KDE personally and one of the reasons, believe it or not, that i still use windows the becuase i can skip around to the objects using my tab key. That was one of the first differences i noticed in KDE. On the keyboard note i use a Microsoft(tm) Natural Keyboard, I think it works, feels a bit odd at first, but i hate going back to a straight keyboard because of the cramped space and my fingers get a little crowded heh, and i have a Logitech(tm) Track Man Marble, that works very well your arm rarely hurts becuase of the shape and how you aren't moving around all the time so i would suggest that also. Just a couple tid bits to relieve computer nerd syndromes.

ah i recall doing just that yetsurday orderinging my geek present, sitting at the computer more and more requires more and more geek toys to keep ya in touch w/ the rest of the world. So i went with a nice spiffy Palm Pilot IIIe special edition, 3 colorful shades, and a body glove neoprene case:) not the 500 dollar model but hey, what the heck happens if somone swipes a 500 dolla puter eh? if ya get a 500 dolla box they aren't going to take it but ya well im done, there she is Click here for the palm
When are they going to make any of this crap simple? Microsoft is a pain in the buy, yes, Microsoft has over priced products, yes, so what is all this leagal junk going to do other than make tons of headaches and bother the living heck out of all of us bc they are all moaning and complaining about Microsoft being a Monopoly, If they are a Monopoly why do other operating systems exist, just buy less microsoft products and all this just would be fixed, oh wait microsoft only makes programs that are totally idiot proof what whould 75% of the world do with a computer w/o Microsoft?
