why use yahoo at all? It's an american service.

Check your bank to see if it's offered. All of the bigger and most of the smaller all offer one form or another.

If you reside in Canada, go to www.preschoicefinancial.com.

They are a "no-fee" virutal bank tied to CIBC.
I have been using them for quite a while now to bank and pay my bills online, phone, bank machine, whatever, and they have been very good.

The only fees they actually charge is when you use another banks machines. Otherwise, there are no fees for paying bills.

One point that should be made:
Even though print media chooses which stories are important enough to grace their pages, so too does the web media...

Sites like cnn also show you what they feel is most important to it's viewers.

The difference between the two forms, is that on the web, I am a click away from finding another site that has other events that are important to me. In this way, I can get all the news that is important to me.

    Print can't compete with this.

I won't go into what I think of the writing...

One thing I have noticed while working with the modems on Rogers@Home, is that the modem itself has an IP address in the 10.x.x.x block. Anyone else seen this? They aren't accessable from outside the @Home network though... And BTW, i'm in Vancouver, and I pay $40 a month. I've moved around a lot lately and I haven't noticed a lag in bandwidth...
