Classism? The story has nothing to do with it. It's not about corporations, either. Capitalism is still the best way to run a marketplace.
And it really has nothing to do with Republicans & Democrats. Republican and Democrat are black and white, not cats.
The story is really all about the cats who, as far as I can tell, are the lawyers. The vast majority of politicians are lawyers or have legal backgrounds. And they end up writing laws based on that background. They run the system and they run it for lawyers.
