Indeed, the designer is intelligent. Think about your eyeball and all the millions of light sensitive cells that work together so that you can read this reply. Think about how we can a justice system and have morals and a conscience. Look at how the earth rotates so that the we have different seasons so vegetation can grow. Look at the fact if the moon were farther away, we would have no oceans and if it were closer we would constantly have massive tidal waves. Look at the fact that if we were a little farther from the sun, we would all freeze to death and if we were a little closer we would all fry. Look at how Water is more dense in its liquid state than in its solid state. If it were like virtually any other liquid, most aquatic life would die because the water would freeze from the bottom up as opposed to the top down. You know the air you are breathing right now is only 20% oxygen and 80% hydrogen. You have just enough oxygen to survive. I can go on and on. Our universe is harmonious.... not chaotic. I can throw dynamite into a printing press and get the declaration of independence. That is by the way, what you are suggesting.
However you did ask a good question. "Why do we have diseases". When GOD made the world, indeed it was perfect to the fullest extend. But then Adam sinned and brought death upon us as punishment. You are Adam's offspring and are subject to this punishment as well. Think that is unfair? Have you ever told a lie in your life. Even once? Then you are a liar. Ever stolen anything in your life? Regardless of the value? Then you are a theif. Ever used GOD's name carelessly or as a curse word? We don't even use Hitler's name in that fashion! Why do we use GOD's name in that way? That is called Blasphemy by the way. The Bible says GOD will not hold that person guiltless who uses his name in vain. Those are only 3 of the 10 commandments. The Bible says in hebrews 9:27 that we have one life to live and then after GOD will judge us according to the 10 commandments. You will be guilty. GOD is extremely just. not only will he send murderers to hell, but Revelation 21:8 tells us that he is even going to send the liars to hell because he can not tolerate sin AT ALL. However GOD is also love. It is not a pampering love. It is a perfecting love. GOD demonstrated his love to the world in that while we were yet sinners, he died for us. Jesus took our punishment and paid the price so that when die and are judged by GOD, GOD will not see the righteousness in us (Which is NOTHING) but rather we will be covered and hidden in the righteousness of Jesus who lived a perfect life as he was GOD in man's form. Romans 5:8
Do not be fooled. GOD is not some stupid little guy. GOD is a massive, untamable, all powerful, wrath filled (against all sin), loving, merciful (when following HIS plan of Salvation) GOD.
We must repent (turn 180 degrees away from our sinful life) and submit our life to Jesus Christ.
