WP7 never had native code and never will. WP8 will, but it completely replaces the WP7 ecosystem with an incompatible one.
Not true at all. After reading this, it's clear that the WP7 ecosystem will work on WP8, albeit with a few little tweaks here and there (like going from XP to Vista/7 in a way).
If your tax plan was implemented, I can predict exactly how many pubs would bid for these 'smoking licenses': zero. No sensible landlord will say 'I want to pay more tax'. Then you'd be in exactly the same situation as now, except with a ban, I can also avoid tobacco smoke in any enclosed public space, not just pubs. Not to mention the health benefits for the population at large.
It's better overall to save money than raise taxes.
The last thing I want to do, as a non-smoker, is sit in a stinking smoke-filled pub. The stench of tobacco can be enough to make me nauseous. Should I suffer just so the government can make a small amount of extra tax?
You mean Expression Studio? It's not a true rival to Abode's CS, as Expression includes Blend, the main tool for WPF/Silverlight/WinPhone UI designers. It's almost as important to MS as Visual Studio, as the two suites complement each other.
I'm also a bit curious why they don't just use DGPS
Because it'd be hideously expensive to get enough base stations to cover enough landmass to help sat-navs. If my company (which makes lorry fleet tracking equipment software) wanted to use DGPS, we'd have to get base stations installed throughout the UK, Switzerland, Germany, the US, and Australia.
The way it works is we all vote for an MP to represent us, then the party with the majority of MPs is (formally speaking) invited by the reigning monarch to form a government. If a majority isn't achieved (and the requirements vary a little depending on how the vote swings), then parties can team up as a coalition.
1. Cheap and easy ways to clean water for the world
2. Cheap and easy ways to provide light for the world
3. Cheap and easy ways to feed the world
4. Cheap and easy ways to maintain sanitation
5. Cheap and easy ways to provide education to the world.
Yeah, the last Savior only took care of the first three.
If you actually need development tools on Firfox - you know, proper script debuggers and stylesheet inheritance info and page-load profilers and such - you have to use extensions.
Wasn't that the original goal behind Firefox? If you want to do anything other than watch memes on YouTube, you install an extension.

Is that what I said? Or did I actually say the EU would go after Google for shafting millions of users in some pathetic hissy fit?
I'd love to see Google remove login ability from all Google products in France
As a result of which the EU would swing it's full might right at Google's wedding tackle.

You miss out on tax/licensing revenue. Just like those stupid bans on smoking.
The only thing I can think of that's taxed higher than smoking is petrol/diesel (in the UK at least).

Damn non-Unicode - there's meant to be a cent symbol in there.
Germany has a similar system, where it's (IIRC) 5. I think it's also done in Belgium.

Not quite, but not that far off.

I do believe that's the most racist thing I've ever read on here. Mods, do your thing.
SPLITTERS!
Why shouldn't it?
Done
Maybe :)
How? I've never seen the option.
Next big thing?
The iPhone 5s
You mean the iPhone 10
How bout -
1. Cheap and easy ways to clean water for the world 2. Cheap and easy ways to provide light for the world 3. Cheap and easy ways to feed the world 4. Cheap and easy ways to maintain sanitation 5. Cheap and easy ways to provide education to the world.

That's alright - the Romans did the other two :)
Or reduce the road accident rate to essentially zero?
So all those people killed or injured in road accidents don't exist?
This is how they get their data.
And I'd rather go by the stats of 28,000,000 unique visitors than 250,000 thousand.

Followed by Firefox 64, which won't be quite as powerful as you hope :)
