Please do not forget the mission of the Red Cross. If you are able to donate money and this it is a worthwhile cause, donate away. Unless you have a medical reason why you should not donate blood every 56 days, then go and donate blood. Even if you are AB+ go and donate. Sure your packed red cells are useless to most everyone out there, but your plasma can and will save lives. If you are O- then donate if for no other reason than self preservation.
Bottom line- donate blood.
