I'll bet my ears most companies are going to buy at least a part of this plan. Quite some large companies I know use Google docs, and this might be the very thing for the most crucial data (encrypted, of course).
Sure, they might have backups in underground safes and everything, but I think that when it comes to backups, these people don't kid.
It might be useful for other stuff as well, but I see this as a backup system.
